With activities such as the Public Call, the City of Zagreb ensures a clear desire for broad inclusion of citizens and representatives of tenants from the entire area of the City of Zagreb, providing everyone with the same opportunities. The Call aims at the participation or participative nature of fellow citizens, activation and care for the quality of life, reducing the impact of climate change (such as overbuilding, urban heat islands or urban floods...).
In cooperation with partners in the ActGREEN project, the City of Zagreb, the project holder, the City Office for Physical Planning, Construction of the City, Utility Services and Transport, and the ActGREEN project coordinator, the City Administration General Secretariat, and project partners, the ODRAZ - Sustainable Community Development Association, the Croatian Association of Landscape Architects, and the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture, form a partnership that has realized the ActGREEN project.
Zagreb smart city HUB (under the City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning) is connected to the ActGREEN website and GREEN-HUB service information. While we are physically present in the
Zagreb Energy Center/ZEC, a one-stop shop location of the city of Zagreb for the purpose of providing information to citizens about the activities of the city of Zagreb for the needs of renewable energy sources, and we use the space as a one-stop shop project where fellow citizens can ask employees for information about the ActGREEN project, we have also equipped the space with additional equipment for meetings and work with citizens through the funds of the ActGREEN project.
