As part of the Twinning Learning Programme, members of the project team participated on 9 October 2024 in the first workshop for pilot cities and twin cities.
The purpose of the workshop was to get acquainted with our twin city, Poznań (Poland), and to define a joint learning plan. The focus of the workshop was on understanding the similarities and differences in the local contexts of Zagreb and Poznań.
The objectives of the workshop were:
To gain a shared understanding of the similarities and differences in the local context of Zagreb and Poznań, and to review ambitions, activities and good practices related to climate neutrality in each city.
To identify learning needs and opportunities for knowledge transfer and good practice exchange between the cities.
The main focus of the workshop was the presentation of the City of Zagreb, the pilot city, with emphasis on the local context, climate‑neutrality ambitions, overall strategy, pilot activities, related projects or initiatives, as well as challenges and learning needs.
Representatives of Poznań delivered a presentation in which they introduced their local context, climate‑neutrality goals, comprehensive strategy, challenges, and good practices or initiatives.
